Provide exceptional support within a private health care environment
30 hours per week Monday to Friday
We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist / general assistant to work at both Tasman Day Surgery and our affiliated entity, Lower Queen Street (LQS) Specialists in Richmond. Our team of caring health professionals provide compassionate, friendly, patient centred care to our local community.
Tasman Day Surgery is a new purpose-built private day-stay hospital, opening March 2022. Adjacent to this are LQS Specialists, a private medical suite at Lower Queen Street Health.
Supporting both teams, you will provide a professional, welcoming reception service to our patients and their whānau. You will also provide exceptional general and administrative support to the General Manager Tasman Day Surgery and a Specialist Surgeon.
This role is diverse. From setting up new administrative processes to liaising with medical insurers and assisting with minor medical procedures, no two days will be the same! Your excellent customer service skills will complement your natural ability to clearly communicate with a diverse range of people. Although this role requires a level of autonomy and initiative, you will relish working in a team environment where everyone has a passion for delivering quality care to our patients.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude are essential!
